I agree, probably is the CPS. DON'T PAY $400 FOR THIS SENSOR. I got one
from the parts bin online for $95.

Yup, sounds like the darn CPS, mine did the same thing and I thought I liked
the problem...but nooooo... it will just degrade to the point where it never
starts.

It might still be the camshaft position sensor. The faults are
consistent with its intermittent behavior when hot.
