I had this problem, and if you look back about a year in the Yahoo archives
there's a lot of mention of it as well.  Bad thermostat was the culprit.

I left mine a little long I think, and also had to replace my water pump.
My advice, do it sooner rather than later.  (And if you have left it, then
definitely check the water pump....)
