Lee,
don't listen to your mechanic. Just install the damn thing. There is a
second M10x1 port in the block covered by the plug. CAREFUL!!! That 5mm
Aleen is a real bitch not to round off. Don't ask me how I know this.
You will have to relocate the idiot light switch from the lower port
into the upper one due to the space constraints. The huge barrel-like
analogue oil pressure sender will not fit in there coz the thermostat
housing will be in the way.
Also, don't bother activate the 2200 rpm portion of the pressure sensor
(the second pin on your analogue sender unit). You don't really need it.
As for the instrument cluster, you will have to do some track cutting
and soldering and you'll have to populate the second wire into the 4-pin
black plug on the back of the IC.
And Lee, for Pete's sake, don't sacrifice the voltmetre. Yank out the
useless clock instead.
