Last night, I pulled the plastic valence covering the heater blower
motor to fix my water leak.  It appears that the valence was installed
improperly (clipped, but the windshield edge was not installed in the
plastic slot - just resting on top, so water poured right on in).  Of
course, I remained unable to fit my fat hands in from above, but was
able to pull the crap out from the bottom (just above the steering
rack).  Nasty.  Solid 2" of standing water.  Great.  Now I get to pull
the carpet before it freezes . . .

Who'da thunk a 2" oval drain could become plugged so easily . . .
