IMO, it's 100% pro. No significant heating, after all, these are only 2
watt bulbs as compared to 1.1 or 1.2 watts. Big deal. Night time
instrument visibility is significantly improved. If the lights are too
bright you could, of course, use the dimmer feature but that would sort of
defeat the whole idea in the first place.
I am delighted with the improvement in mine - excellent upgrade. Oh, 2
watt bulbs are available from rod at thepartsconnection.com for ~$1.25 each
(you will need ten of them).
