[s-cars] Rear Brakes

Frank,
Searched the Russian ETKA and the RS2 and UrS master cylinders have different stock
numbers ... but that doesn't necessarily negate what is being said. Having not
tried or seen the RS2, I am only going on what a rally bud of mine who raced a coupe
convert to RS2 advised me...
...there is a stamped number on the booster side of the master cylinder that,
supposedly, corresponds to the travel distance of the shaft, but the damn thing
needs to be off the car to read ...
Regardless, once I got the rear e-brake issue resolved, with rear rotor choice being
the proverbial squeaky wheel, I will be using 993TT rear calipers to test both
claims...
My set up: (as planned)
RS2 mounting brackets (requires axle hubs and bearings to be removed to install...)
993tt rear calipers
993tt rear rotors (machined 5x112mm mounting "slots" with fixing ring a la Movit)
RS2/993tt e-brake (internal mini-drum style) (same internals as the 993tt)
The mechanical caliper (wilwood) option is cheaper (say, $98 ea), but as noted,
would require an additional mounting arm fabrication to the RS2 rear mounting
plate...but it just doesn't look right.
I am working on some schematics from piecing various ETKA and brembo pics together
... once complete, I'll forward for S-list approval (or insuing disapproval ....).
...and once I find the time, living only 90 miles from Bonneville, you know those
threads about an S-Car speed challenge might be in the works...to include the french
escargo if he could get that V-8 out of the wine country...

Todd, I don't have TFA handy, but the RS2 & UrS share the same MC (24mm
I believe). So. 993tt front and rear calipers shouldn't be a problem,
given that the RS2 was specified with 993tt fornts (optionally) and 968
CS rears.
Anyway, one of my next projects is getting the 993tt rears on their
(thanks Joearn!).
