Lee-
Hawk HPS pads are _excellent_ IMHO for street use.

The problem is that I need something more track-oriented
for summer use, thus I've gone to Hawk HP Plus for the
rears and will go to Porterfield R4 or Pagid Orange
for the front.

Keep in mind that R4 and Orange will squeal like crazy on
my non-slotted, non-drilled rotors, at least from seeing them
as installed on my friend's 951S.

If I get two sets of pads, one for street, one for track, then
I'll get Hawk HPS for street and the above mentioned for track.

Taka,

Why'd you switch off the Hawk HPS pads?

I'm just going *to* them, having glazed a set of Mintex Reds trying to
get rid of a squeal.

The good news is that the squeal is gone...but so is my braking! :(
