If soaked in this long enough (no idea what "long enough is") doesn't
Pentosin have the rather undesirable quality of causing some kinds of rubber
or synthetic rubber components (i.e., in this case most specifically, the
motor mounts) to swell?
Don't know, just a cautionary question for the curious to know how hard one
should scrub, and how fast one wants to consider moving on spotting or
suffering a Pentosin leak.

~You may want to guess what the material of the o-rings you bought is and
~investigate their compatibility with pentosyn hydraulic oil. Viton
~would be better, but you would likely have to have your "local" bearing
~supply source order some for you. Maybe McMaster-Carr has some, I've
~never looked.
