[s-cars] brake pads

I was about to order a set (front & rear) of Hawk HPS brake pads for my '95
S6 (they have received good comments by at least a couple of listers), but
then I saw EBC Greenstuff pads (on www.tirerack.com).  Only reason I am
considering them in lieu of the Hawk HPS would be that the EBC Greenstuff
pads with their high kevlar content might be gentler on the rotors.  Has
anybody tried the Greenstuff pads?

Also, I had always assumed my car had Girling calipers, but I see brake pads
also listed for ATE calipers for a '95 S6... do I need to check before I
order pads?
