Taka:

Did this very repair this weekend.

Got the Lemfoerder hose from Scott Mockry for about $90...
(Plug for Scott (sjmauto at mail.attbi.com)
- It's nice to order part from someone who not only knows that its the RIGHT part, but also to install it ;^)

Commonly known as the "J" hose

The line from the pump to the hose is really two lines - a rigid pipe with a banjo connection on the pump, and the lower J hose.
They connect via 17mm nut at about the after-run pump level behind the radiator.

R&R goes this way.
Discharge bomb

Support bomb with strap wrench or similar method and remove banjo bolt (14mm)
capture dripping pentosin

Disconnect J hose upper connection (helps to have a stubby 17mm crescent wrench)
Be carful when removing the end not to force the brake line attached to the accumulator
remove the tuned damper ( little brass plug on a black tube)

Lubricate with pentosin and install new orings provided onto bolt with the screen on one side.
install J hose on accumulator - make sure to get the banjo bolt against the protruding stop or stud on the bomb - this ensures that the hose is positioned away from the body near the motor mount (I think flexing against the body in this location is one of the causes of failure of the hose)

install new damper per Bentley ( long end into rigid upper hose)

Connect lower J hose to upper ( I found this to be considerably easier when I looped a piece of string around the end and used it to pull up on the hose to hold them together while tightening the nut.)

The second banjo nut (w/o the side screen) and orings are for the pump side of the rigid hose (pipe) if you so decide to replace.

HTH
