[s-cars] Clutch Conundrum

Hi Guys,

    Well the Quattro clutch job is indeed a huge PITA. I got the transmission
out on friday night. Got the transmission in on Saturday. Got all the
linkage, slave cyl, bolts torqued, and exhaust installed etc. Sunday at about
4:00. Figured I'd turn it over to make sure everything was alright. Clunk!
Engine won't turn. Flywheel is bound up completely. So out comes the trans. I
discovered that I had put the clutch disc in backwards. Duh! I flipped it
around and put the trans back on. The flywheel still binds if I tighten the
trans on to the engine. I can't figure out what would cause this. Any ideas?
Could it be the pilot bearing not into the flywheel far enough?
