Heh, Bill, somehow I KNEW that wouldn't go unnoticed! Pad sensors, along
with fuel filter, O2 sensor, yadayadayada...
I'd go rear lines too. And give SERIOUS thought to doing the matching rear
rotors / pads (well, in my case the Euro A8 Brembos matched, not sure on the
993tt rotors). If only for the DRAMATICALLY improved pedal feel. It's
awesome.
I got my kit, er, @ ECS, er, for $1,150 (well, rear parts extra that is).
Can't say how though ;-)...

Subject: [s-cars] RE: S6 big brake kits
Having just done the ECS cool guy (possible poser) P------ drilled/cast
upgrade, I might add that 10-15% savings would be a very fair deal
indeed for the turnkey kit.
Tom had told me that, naw he dont do GP's, so I'd say take advantage of
Bobs influence here as who knows when ECS will ever do this again.
The ecs brackets are hefty 7075 forged aircraft aluminum IIRC. Very
nice and everything FIT perfectly.
I only got 2 SS lines. Is the thinking that the rears should be
upgraded also?
I'm still waiting for the time & place to finally finish bedding them
pads.
(BTW anyone looking for wear sensors, there's a set available sitting on
Paul K's garage workbench. he he Hey splice them babies in there:)
