I thought this too later because the underside of the
hose was coated in oily grime. I take it that this
means the hose is leaking.

Hmm, I'll keep an eye on it and see what happens.

Yes, I know that it's a bit low because the owner's
manual says it should be a little over 2.0 bar but I
haven't tracked down the problem yet. The hose was my
first port of call.

You get 2.6 bar?!!! Is that on a stock ECU?
