Darin,
My '92 100S had the "ding ding" problem about a year ago. It was caused by
the switch in the doorjamb not telling the "dinger" the door was closed.
This "dinger" feature only works for the driver door, so I just swapped the
driver door switch with the switch from one of the other doors. Not had a
problem since (~1.5 years). HTH.
