[s-cars] Octane and Unleaded Race Gas Article

Igor,
AFAIK, Matt Russell runs the MTM 1+ with 94 octane
here in NY/CT with no problems.  Is Sunoco 94
available down by you?  Another peculiar thing is that
some MTM1+'s ping while others don't, while most seem
to be running 93 octane.  This leads me to believe
that some "93" is better than others?  Did you try
different gas stations?  I know this is a speculative
theory at best, but short of examining the flow of the
entire fuel system, I can think of no other
explanation.
By the way, I do notice an improvement going from 93
to 94 octane, timing is slightly different.  Also,
when I refilled up at Paul's house for the Auto-x with
93 instead of the usual sunoco 94, I noticed some
hesitation at WOT due to re-adaptation.  Sorted itself
out by the time I got home, though.
