Since we haven't had a good food fight lately I thought I might stir the pot so to speak.

Ordering parts for my BIRA System 3 installation using the Boxster S red caliper, pn 996.351.425.11 & 996.351.426.11
Looking for advice on street brake pad choices. Would like no noise, minimal dust but good pedal feel and "bite" characteristics. Cost is some consideration too although not the main priority.

The choices I see could be:

Mintex Red Box

Kerr Friction Street

Porterfield R4S

Hawk HPS

Any help would be appreciated. Also, did you use backing plates or "goop". Did you turn your new rotors before installation. That kind of stuff.....
