[s-cars] Second PSO?

Hi Y'all,

Has anyone experienced a second PSO channel failure?  If not then it
appears that I am the one who gets to jump about waving a finger in the air
and shouting, "Hooray!  I'm number one!".

Please note, I didn't specify which finger.

More diagnostics remain to be done but that is the present appearance.
