Bruce-
I think this is a characteristic of a lot of high-perf. German cars-
the BMW M cars I've driven have clutch pickup right off the floor, as
does my 200q, all the UrS cars I've driven, as well as the Porsches.

Audi A4s seem to have engagement near the top of the pedal travel,
totally screws me up and I hate it. My Dad's old Maxima was not much
better, nor my old Pathfinder, but that was fixed when I put a
Centerforce
dual-friction clutch in- much, much heavier, engagement point was lower,
felt great.
