[s-cars] Brake GP Question

Hello,

In regard to purchasing his Stage 3 BigBrake kit, Tom at ECS is offering
me an upgrade in pads from Mintex Red Box to Mintex C-Tech (Blue) for
$60.

I didn't want the normal Mintex Red Pads since I will use the car at the
track and too many people seem to be having build-up issues in normal
driving.

The C-Techs sound OK to me (it's what I run currently without any
problems whatsoever).

Is $60 for the upgrade reasonable?  Or is there something else that I
could get elsewhere that will work better  - (better being a good
street/track compromise at resonable cost).  I figure I can always
unload the normal Mintex Reds on ebay or soemthing or keep them around
for emergency use.

For example, thepartsbin.com lists a set of Textars for $142 and a set
of Pagids for $87.  I am assuming these are stock Porsche replacement
pieces, would they be comparable to the Mintex Reds or better?
