Angelo,
Audi know of a problem with corrosion on S4/S6 bonnets (or hoods) for
the '94-'97 model years. The previous owner of my car had Audi repair
and respray the bonnet before I bought the car. A year after I bought
the
car the rust started bubbling through again. The rust is caused by the
bonding agent in the seems, worse place is down the right and left
sides.
If this is your problem it doesn't matter how good the body shop is that
you take the car to, the rust will come back. Audi replaced mine and
Kevin
Pearson's under warranty. I believe there is a 10 year rust warranty and
Audi know of the problem of course you have to convince your local
dealer. At the end of the day it doesn't cost the dealer anything.

p.s. Has anyone had this happen. My father was visiting from Scotland
and
driving my car, he left the radio on and ran the battery flat. So after
a couple
of days I hook up a charger and head off to work. Coming home I find the
sunroof open and it won't close. It had retracted all the way back and
would
only move slightly forward when switched to the tilt position, wouldn't
actually
tilt just move about 2 inches forward. Is there a contact switch or
something
that could be flaky? I ended up shutting it manually but there was a lot
of
resistance until it moved past the place it was stuck....
