Igor,

     The A4 head rebuild is an excellent read! When I see another episode in
the digest I feel the same anticipation I get when I recieve a new car
magazine. Especially good today sitting at home in the rain waiting to get
some seals so I can put my new trans in next week.
     What was the issue that caused the belt failure so early? We just got a
2002 Jetta for the Mrs. with the 20V 1.8T and as much as I like reading about
the head rebuild I don't know that I'd actually want to do it.
