[s-cars] Sport Quattro Engine cut off at 4000 rpm

What is the boost pressure when it cuts,(if  it is boost related)or is it at
4000 rpms no matter what load/boost the engine has?

The most common fault is  to have the hoses to the electric wastegate
controller installed incorrestly and  the  engine  make  too much boost and
cuts due  to a preprogrammed value in the ECU.

If it  is not related to boost-conditions check the input signal from the
crank-trigger(counting rev/min @flywheel tooths) to the ECU with a VAG-COM or
a VAG1551.

( I would like to  see some very low boost on this car, so I have a chance to
keep up with him next wek @ Le Mans.......)
