Igor,
Your wife sounds like a truly enlightened woman.
I think we should start a separate list, for Wives Of Enthusiast S-car
Mechanics Everywhere, (henceforth to be known as WOE'S ME)with your wife as
the moderator. That way, she can field the questions such as, "My husband's
brakes have started to squeal. Is this "Big Red" thing he's been talking
about in his sleep really the answer?"
I'll personally fund the thing.
And fly her to Columbus to host the First Annual WOE'S ME Fest.
Tomorrow.

Oh, she is convinced all right, Hap. In fact she's the one who suggested
getting a pressure washer, and generally she initiates purchases like
this in my household. She got me the dual toolbox, two digi-torque
wrenches and now is trying to convince me that I really need that two
post, 6,000 lb asymmetrical lift in my new garage, coz she doesn't like
the idea of me keeping to break my back crawling under the car at the
age of 42. And believe it or now, I am the one who keeps saying, well at
$3k installed it is a bit too expensive a toy.
I guess I am very lucky.
:)
