Anyone around the Twin Cities Area that would be willing to show me what th=
eir
car is like? Either stock or modified? That might help with the decision.

Chris,
You're already in line for upgrades and your S.O. should join the WOE's ME
club.
You just don't know it yet! All kidding aside:
I did not compare a A4 2.8 with a stock (I presume) S4. but I can imagine t=
he
'93 at 3800 lbs and 227 BHP may not blow your socks off. It's not a
quick-off-the-line car, in stock form. Coming out of a 10Valve 200TQ, I
thought the S4 was in a new level with much much more room to improve.
A first/second un-modified original owner car with documents is a great sta=
rt
for a performance German sedan mod prograqm. All of us here have that disea=
se
to one level of another.
Get your MTM or Intended Accel first stage chipset and it's really come ali=
ve.
Go further, and it's truly amazing. Some guys on this list are near 340-390
BHP with a sedan that handles like a, (choose your favorite) Vette, whateve=
r=2E
(Flame suit on)
If you DO take the step, budget chip, brakes, suspension, exhaust and then
re-run that A4 impression.

okay, I drove the car and everything is nice. The only thing I don't really
like about is is that it doesn't rev as sooth as my A4 2.8. I know the car =
is
more powerful but is really doesn't seem to feel as quick. Any idea why this
would be or is that just how they are?

Today at lunch I am going to go drive a 93 S4 with 59,000 miles. Is there
anything I should be looking out for besides what is on the list here:
http://www.urs4.com/S4S6/S4S6_buyers_guide.html[1]
I am looking to sell my high mile A4 for this low mile more powerful car.
Thanks in Advance!
Chris
