No big deal. :-) I didn't think I was offending you,
just prefaced my comment that way.

I agree that lots of cars look cleaner w/ euro bumpers,
although I don't like the way type 44s look with euro
bumpers- makes the car look way too round for my taste.

Replaceable rub strips are very nice- wish I could do that
with my car.

The weight is also significant in that it's way out there
at the ends of the car, increasing the polar moment of
inertia, my point was that you're reducing the damage
absorption capacity of the car. Because I have to use my
car daily, I'd never do that myself until I could get a
daily beater car.
