Okay.. I've asked the list before w/o results, so I'm not very
optimistic! Seems that beer and rants about British cars are more their
cup of coffee.. ;o))
Maybe I'll spot it when I do my overdue timing belt!

Good question. I don't know where it is. The used car dealer I bought my
car
from did the replacement. He said it was very well hidden and he (if he
is
to be believed) said they had to take a lot of things apart in the front
end
to get at it. It probably is well hidden, cause I have never spotted it
while working in the engine bay. Maybe somebody on the list
knows.....listers?

Hi!
If the defective resistor was on your S4, where was it located?? I can't
find mine! I think mine might be busted as well..
