I'd say 22 psi on K24.

two turbo quattros
When shopping for my MTM 1+, that's basically the consensus of what many
here told me the stock K24 could safely handle. I'm actually surprised more
haven't chimed in yet in shock that you're running a 'possible' 28 through
your K24. I'd confirm that ASAP, and back down that WG. For me, 22.5-23
here @ 0-1,000 feet is typical. Though, in a long hard pull (stay out of
the gutter ;') ) in 5th, it STAYS there, I thought it was supposed to be a
'brief overboost'?
Question (albeit a subjective one):
How much turbo 'whine', 'whir', 'whistle', etc. is everyone producing with
their chipped K24s (the non chipped cars I've driven are very quiet)?
Curious.
Mine is pretty significant, and while I LOVE the sound, part of me worries
it's not good. I'm hoping to pull the MAF side and check for play this
weekend. Though, right now I'm sans underpan (after oil change, awaiting
Samco's), so I'm sure that contributes. Pizzo's IA 3 bar car sounded
identical when I drove it, however somehow these days that may just not be a
good baseline comparison! :o

'95 //S6 that's doing the whining, not me
'58 TR3A so much noise I'd never hear any whine
P.S. Mark, somewhere out there I once saw an //S Car forum 'translator'
page... Jamu, the archive hoar maybe?
