[s-cars] side moulding

Jolly,
I've had this problem. It was caused by rust build-up behind the metal
"spine" that runs the length of the trim piece, causing it to bulge outward
and no longer fit flush to the doors. I got some passenger side pieces used
from a west coast car that were in great shape.
Also saw some in latest BLAU catalog for $160.00 for the set. Don't know if
they are OEM or not. (anyone know?)
They come off easily, with screws accessed from the inside of the ends of
each door. (I think on the rear doors, the rear screws are behind the door
seal rubber strip.) Don't over-tighten the screws. DAHIKT :o

These are dealer only and I suggest only buying new (not used) when it comes
to body moulding parts, as otherwise the very same problems are likely to be
present in the replacement parts. If you can get by with just the clips
and salvaging the moulding, do so.

Hello,
The black strip on my passenger rear door was popping off the clips. In my
attempt to push it back on I made the whole thing come off- Hah. On
examination, the attachment points on the strip are deteriorated in certain
areas, not all, and some of the white clips are broken.

How do I get replacement clips and moulding, and how do I get it back on?
Thanks
Jolly
