I strongly suggest you don't do anything with the WGFV.  Also, if your
Wastegate is adjustable, turn the screw counter clockwise (up) so that the
wastegate vents sooner rather than later. If not, put in the weaker spring.
Otherwise you could be looking at blown turbo, burnt valve(s), etc (assuming
these haven't happened yet).
