Colin,
Can you send me a picture of what you are looking for. I can follow with my
friend who just rebuilt his SQ.
Regards,
Frederic

Subject: [s-cars] Suspension problem on SQ
The SQ has 4 radius rods that run from the front of the sub frame to the
lower control arms and from the center of the rear body to the lower rear
control arms. My problem is the bushings in the rod ends have worn badly.
The rods and the rod ends (only one rode end is adjustable/replaceable on
each rod) are NLA.
So I need to find a machine shop which will match the inner and outer
dimensions of the rode ends and help me source replacement bushings. This
is not the sort of thing that shops do every day, certainly on the East
Coast. The Urq does not have these devices and the SQ roll bar which is
thicker than the Urq I believe, uses large rubber bushings that also seem to
be NLA. But that's another story.
Any suggestions, has anyone had this sort of work done for them. I know
that single sweaters and many closed wheel sports prototypes use similar
geometry but I don't know any of these shops.
Thanks.
Colin
