Subject: [s-cars] big brake swap documentation anyone?
Has anyone out there documented (with photos preferably)the swapping of OEM
fronts with big brakes, especially the kits from in the GP form ECS? There
have been some great step-by-steps on the list recently. As a fair wrench,
it would sure make me feel good as I think I'm about to take der plunge into
quickstoppenland.

Ah, Dave, it's EASY! Here's my step-by-step write up:
-show up @ my place in CT on a Friday night, with beer
-don't begin to even break the lugs until 10:00 p.m.
-drink beer
-ensure a dozen listers are there providing useless commentary, all the
while laughing at you
-drink more beer
-get bodychecked by Mr. Rossato to take over and do the job for you, with
his tools (and here Bob I bet you thought by this point I wasn't going to
tell anyone? HA!)
-finish ~ 2:30 a.m.
-drive home @ 2:45 a.m.
OK, that's how Serge did his last Friday, coming from f'n BROOKLYN. Pretty
freakin' funny, actually.
All kidding aside (like I'm capable), it's a pretty easy straightforward job
like Jim B. said. Sans listers laughing at you, realistically, it's about
maybe a 2 hour jobby.
Do it. Do it now! Do the rear rotors/pads/lines while you're at it, pedal
feel is SUPERB now.
