 Hi everyone,
   Here is a good story from my trip over to Road America a few days ago. I
live in Michigan and decided to take the Ludington car ferry over to
Wisconsin for the event. I had my car (94 S-4) my wife following in her 95
S-6 Avant and my mechanic in his M3. We parked at the boat and left our cars
for the Ludington crew to pull them on. My mechanic decided to leave his
video camera going to make sure all went smooth. That night while drinking
some beer and getting excited about the event we put the tape in to see how
they did parking the cars. Well, the driver of the M3 drove into my wife's
s-6 and then when trying to reverse put back in first and ran into it again.
Our jaws dropped as we watched the video. We jumped up and ran down to our
cars and sure enough the bumper, grill, and hood of the M3 was damaged and
my
wife's rear left corner of the bumper was very scuffed and cracked. On our
way back we told them what had happened but did not mention the video at
first. They said they could not be responsible unless it was noticed the day
it happened. That's when I told them that I had video of the whole thing and
that the drivers face was clear as day in the rearview mirror. It was fun to
watch their faces go blank. Anyway they are going to cover all of it so I
guess it will all work out fine.
