Thanks for everyone's advice about trouble shooting my faulty ABS Control
unit.  It turned out not be be a problem with sensors at the wheels, or a
short in the unit.

On careful examination under the hood, I found mouse droppings and a chewed
hot wire going into the ABS Pump!!  The funny part is I did not have my car
in the garage.  It has been on the street.  Oh well, now .... any ideas on
mouse proofing my engine compartment LOL.
