[s-cars] Backup Light Stuff

OK, here's yer morning tech quiz ...
  (that's a slick way to avoid saying I don't know)

My right backup light doesn't light up.  OK, I changed the bulb.
No difference.  Preliminary checking shows the left backup light
is getting power just fine, no power to the right backup light
socket ...

It was 6 months ago that I went through the above "so change the bulb"
exercise ...  and I don't remember if I took the trunk lid carpet liner
clear off or if I was cutting corners - so I don't remember how the wiring
runs to the backup light sockets.  I don't think it was all out where
any reasonable person can see it.

I remember the 5000 CSTQ quirk where if a license plate light was out
it caused strange symptoms with some dashboard light ...  so is my backup
light failing to light because there's a broken wire in the $&^#$@ trunk
hinge/bracket?  Or is it due to the ECU mods that improve the boost?
Is it Hans und Klaus's revenge?
