Bob,
Once the screws are removed, the remaining clips unclip from sliding
the loosened part forward and down. Those clips are barely held onto
the board by an indentation and some glue. Brute force removes the clip
from its attaching point on the board BTDT. While you're there, a
little check on the clip integrity and perhaps some additional glue
might help. It seems that the heat over time dries out the glue and
then the connection between clip and board fails.
