Remember to clean and regrease the sliding pin also. (Or get a new one,
check the archive!) It's the reason why just the one gets worn..

Well, I put it off too long, or the Audi gods just decided to get me.
All the talk re. the brake tool needed for the rear brakes made me think
it was probably time to get one, but I put it off. SO, coming back from
my son't soccer practice, I hear something rubbing at the right rear.
Hit the brakes; no change. Figure I caught something behind the shield.
Yep, sure did. Caught the disintegrating inner brake pad. The outer
one looks to be somewhere just south of 50%, so it's little surprising.

I've got spare pads, BUT I need the brake tool, right? What was the
consensus on the best value? Dan, I didn't hear back from you on your
source. A fast solution is what I need now.

TIA,

Steve
