So, the revised code on the chip deals with changes in the ECU, not in the
code operating the motor ?
So, as long as the ECU has the correct base chipset that was shipped with
it, or it is known, then the correct modified chipset can be installed. I
mean to say that the 551D chips need to have , for example, the MTM stage 1+
551D code written to it.
The different software version have no impact on engine management ?
