Mike,
thanks - Hap's sent me the info... i'm going to have
to wait on this one (suspension upgrade and chip/3bar
first...big reds installed a month ago =)
the cross-member was basically used to protect the
exhaust pipes (i think) - not intended to be an anti
sway measure... but i guess it was psychological -
'softer/flexy' feeling...
i'll have to wait until the next batch of RASBs come
along... =)
cheers,
Ken

You need to contact / get on Hap's list at
CaptMagu at aol.com I know
there
are a few, but I'm not sure how many, ahead of you.
I've told Hap I
should
have @ 10 ~ 11 pair of the adapters for him shortly
... When they're
gone,
they'll be gone again. OTOH, if you have a 95 Wagon
or Avant (I'm not
sure
from your post), I don't think you need the adapters
to fit Haps bar to
a
"non" compliant 93 - 96+ chassis. I'm not sure what
you mean by
removing
"the cross member that ran across the middle of the
car..." It doesn't
sound to me like a RSB, thick or thin, is meant to
take the place of
something like that? As for install, how much
bandwidth & mailbox room
do
you have?
