Guys,
Just to clarify... I wasn't attempting to make any statement about my
springs being "right" or "wrong," the current state of Japanese auto tuning,
or my desire for a "slammed" look... or really do anything but give you my
observations regarding the post-install ride height. That's it. Since it
seemed like there had been significant speculation concerning these springs,
I figured I'd pitch out my results.

FWIW, where I live consists of very uneven ground, including my driveway.
This morning, when I made my post, my car was, for the first time since
install, sitting on a level and flat slab of concrete. Lacking any
scientific means for measuring ride height, as I exited my car to walk in to
work, I simply took a good look and relayed those observations on to the
list, not realizing the "air gap" thing was a no-no.

Anyway, I'll still say I'm extremely pleased with the results. It leaves
decent ground clearance, has a very good feel (nice blend of handling and
comfort), and doesn't ruin the front control arm geometry. It's tracking
very straight, no tramlining, no poor behavior under hard braking. That's
exactly what I was looking for.
