Konis tend to be taller than Bilsteins in the same application Dave, but here
you have two different applications, same shock. Try measuring fully
extended length of the shock from lower mounting hole to land at top before
the threads. Remember, Urs cars use a suspension that is ~.5in lower than
the 20020v. That is accomplished by reducing the extended shock length (you
can use the same springs on both cars).

IIRC the rear application of the koni shock is different between the two
cars. If not, a switch to a Bilstein for the urs should solve the problem.

Scott,
The perch is installed concave side down. This set of Konis came right out
of my 200 20v and went straight into the S4. Ride height on the 200 was
normal.

I'm not sure I'm catching the drift on the shock measurement. Assuming that
the car is static, the spring must be compressed by some amount, leaving some
remaining available travel in the shock piston. If this is true, it would
seem that only 2 things could then effect ride height... either lower perch
location, or spring compressed length, wouldn't it?
Thanks,
Dave
