[s-cars] Re: 6-liter W12 Engine

Last time I checked with the counter jockeys and managers for various
local Audi and VW dealerships, the word from all of them came back in
about a week: the W12 engine is not available for purchase at this
time. One VW dealer was kind enough to interject that if I pre-ordered
a VW D1, it would arrive with the engine already in it, and after that
I was free to do whatever with it... I will admit that this call went
out about a year ago (so maybe they are in the supply channel now, but
I still wouldn't bet on it).

I wonder if somebody in Europe was scratching their heads about five
different dealerships in a single geographic area calling about the
availability of this engine in the same week :P
