[s-cars] Rattling Sunroof Control Cover

Now that it's officially pothole and construction
season here in Chicago, my sunroof control/cover has
decided to make itself known.  It's developed a
permanent rattle that I can stop if I apply pressure
to the back edge but as soon as I release the
pressure, the rattle comes back

I know the danger of taking this cover off - the
flimsy mounting pins - but need to find some solution
to get this fixed

Any BTDT or help will be tremendously appreciated.
