[s-cars] Scrape, Snap, Bang ... Clatter

When my wife did this (she very rarely drives my car) she came home with
the undertray dragging and the ends of the bumper hanging down, she was
so freaked by the noise of the undertray, she didn't even know the sides
were drooping.
Anyway, the clips on the insides of the bumpers were damaged, so
I needed a new way to hold them up. I used some sheet metal screws and
capture clips to attach the bumper to the wheel wheel liner. Works fine.
And it sure is easy to remove my bumper now. Did the timing belt this
weekend, and the bumper popped right off.

I wish my fix were as easy as Jimmy's use of two 2000 S6 wheels.

So this is the story that you were afraid to hear
no ... it's not the midnight ride of Paul Revere.

The "scrape" was the front bumper sliding over a high curb.

The "snap" was sliding over a rough part of the curb.

The "bang" was when it hung up on the higher edge of the curb
and then pieces parted, flew far and wide, set new records
  for distances covered.

The "clatter" was when these many pieces finally came back to earth
  in the parking lot.

So ... now the front look of the S6 is unhappy, with the ends of the
bumper curved down.

Can someone tell me what I have done? Besides screwed up?
I assume the bumper cover comes off and then I can figure
out what fixture pieces in the front middle are bent so
that the back ends hang down. I will dig into the Bentley
and try to see how this maze of parts goes together ...

How much is it going to cost me to put this back together?

Unhappy in Ohihohaha Land
