Crapface,
Once you've seen the wonders a bad rear caliper (or
two) can have on the holding ability of our parking
brake on a slight incline, you'll ALWAYS park in gear.
Our e-brakes suck, or maybe just the cables/calipers
need to get rebuilt, but I've come out to the car once
where the rear bumper was hanging off and I was 2mm
away from having a damaged trunk and rear quarter
panel. And, yes, that's how my left rear corner lens
bit the dust.
I park in gear all the time and I have all new cables
and one new caliper. I'll laugh when your car backs
into a wall right after you fit the Euro bumpers
you're so fond of.
:-)
