[s-cars] Driveshaft replace/rebuild? sources?

I just read on UrS4.com about the BMW carrier bearing that will fit
some Audi drive shafts, but th emounting bracket is shorter. Anyone
BTDT? Is this the failure point of these shafts? I am trying to get
more info together, it just started to vibrate while acceleratting in
1st gear (only the low RPM part of 1st gear). Should I expect it to
worsen quickly?
