[s-cars] Can A6 HIDs be retrofitted to Stock housings - repost

Reposting as I have not heard anything.  I did get some private e-mails
indicating others were also curious on this so if any insights can be
offered they would be greatly appreciated.




I have a line on a set of complete A6 HID headlights.  Can these be
lobotomized and retrofitted to the stock units or do I have to use euro
headlight units?  I would obviously prefer to not incur the expense of euros
if this is doable with no degradation of light output.
