IIRC, disconnect the battery. Of course, you'll need radio codes, plus
you'll need to reset remotes. Is this an IR or RF remote? YMMV, by a lot,
anytime you rely on MY memory!

I while back, someone posted about their alarm being backwards.  Unlock car,
alarm chirps, try and start it, and alarm goes off.  Can only start the car
if you get in and then set the alarm.  I am leaving for a trip tomorrow, and
I need this fixed ASAP.  Any help would be much appreciated.  How would I
search the archives?  Where are they?
