Sean,
14.42 @ 105????? Stock????? Ummm...I hate to disappoint you but I think
you got a good tailwind or some downhill action going on here. The best
time I have ever run with my '92 in stock trim was a 15.2 at about 93. I am
at altitude and I can account for a tiny bit of slowing down here, but not
much as when I am at sea level my manifold pressure doesn't go up but about
1 psi, and on a 1/4 mile run the IC heating is not a huge factor.
I ran my G-Tech at the same time I was getting real timeslips and it was
consistently about 0.2 seconds fatser than what my real time was. If you
break 14.9 with a stock car at sea level consider yourself doing well. Just
simply 14.42 seconds to go 0-105 is not stock territory with these cars.
Are your sure the previous owner didn't chip it? What kind of boost is it
hitting?

Subject: [s-cars] Performance Results - G-Tech Pro
Hi all:
Just finished doing some performance testing with my GTech Pro.
0-60 mph: 6.44 sec
1/4 mile: 14.42 sec @ 105 mph
I dropped the clutch at 4k rpm and the tires spun maybe 1/2 a turn (I'm not
going to make a habit of this).
Does this sound consistent with anyone else's tests? It seems fairly
consistent with magazine results, however I always take the G-Tech with a
grain of salt and use it more for comparisons as modifications are done. At
least I have a baseline result now with a stock motor.
