RE: Plugs-  this is definitely something to keep up on, Wayne.  I agree with
you.

That being said - didn't I recently see a post from SJ  (IIRC) stating that
he would torque to 22 ft lbs, loosen
1/2 turn, and then retorque?  That would cause the crush washer to seat
better than just torquing them once?

This ringing bells for anyone?  I might just need more coffee...

I'm don't want to discourage anybody from checking their plugs, but this
definitely looks like a YMMV situation.=A0 I installed new plugs a little o=
ver
a year ago and torqued to 22 ft-lb.=A0 Checked them a week later and they a=
ll
turned maybe a tenth of a turn.=A0 Checked them about 6 months ago, all were
tight.=A0 Checked them a couple of days ago, all were tight.=A0 When I boug=
ht
the car 1-1/2 years ago, three plugs were loose.=A0 I will continue to check
them periodically, but I'm really thankful they're staying put.
