Clayton,
I don't have an extra motor, but I have a possible alternative fix.
My sunroof on my 95.5 S6 was non functional, and wasn't cured by replacing
the rotary switch. I finally figured out the root cause was the battery.
These switches apparently are VERY sensitive to drops in voltage.
I know of at least 3 other cars which restored the sunshine by replacing
their batteries. Just hook up a fresh battery and see if your sunroof
suddenly returns to normal.
Good luck,

Subject: [s-cars] Sunroof motor....
It is summer now and I cannot enjoy it to the fullest. I have an
inoperatable sunroof. I bought a used (working) sunroof/light switch hoping
that may have been the problem and it was not. Now on to the motor. Does
anyone out there happen to have a sunroof motor for a 92 S4. I would think
the 92-97 range would be the same, however not sure. I knew someone who had
a 91 coupe and that was not the same part number. Could anyone shead some
light on what years will or will not work? Does anyone just have a used
(maybe new) working motor around? Thank you all....
